My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Thunder. The right combination of silly and serious . Thunder will stare at you inquisitively and then give a care-free hop. Thunder loves walks, and you'll love how well-behaved he is when you accompany him. Thunder enjoys sitting quietly with people, and no one has ever heard him bark!  A little shy around strangers but would gladly make friends in exchange for a treat.

More about this rescue

We rescue and rehabilitate dogs who are at risk in overcrowded shelters, including many who have been victims of cruelty and dogfighting, and then place them in permanent homes. We also advocate for pit bulls through educational and outreach programs and work to build a community that supports the bond between dogs and people.
