My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ Meet Soom Soom! ✨

Soom Soom is an 11-month-old, neutered wirehaired terrier/Maltese-type mix weighing about 15–18 lbs — complete with short legs, a long little body, and the scruffiest charm you’ve ever seen 🐾

He came to us with his mom and was briefly adopted, but returned when his puppy mouthiness proved to be too much for a home with a small child. Since then, he’s been thriving in foster care and showing everyone just what a special boy he is!

✅ Crate trained (he’ll even go in on his own for treats or dinner!)
✅ Sleeps great through the night
✅ Doing well with housebreaking — snow is not his favorite 😅
✅ Loves stuffies, fetch, and learning new things like “Where is your toy?”
✅ Dog-friendly, but would do best with a playful canine companion

Soom Soom is incredibly playful, active, and full of personality — definitely not a couch potato! He’s looking for an active home ready to embrace his fun energy and continue guiding him as he grows.

Best fit for Soom Soom:
🐶 A playful dog friend
👧 Kids 12+
🏡 A home without lots of steep stairs
💛 A family ready for adventure, training, and lots of love

This great little dog is going to make an amazing companion for the right family. Could that be you?
