Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Here at Orphan Annie’s Neonatal Rescue, we specialize in saving the tiniest, most fragile babies who would have little to no chance at survival with other rescues. So it is with enthusiastic and overwhelming joy that we announce our smallest ever surviving neonate for adoption!!!
Please meet the nearly invincible, tiniest little fighter, Crumb Cake! Crumb Cake, affectionately known as Crumb, Crumb-Diddly-Umm, came to Orphan Annie’s at a jaw dropping 47 grams. That is one and a half ounces. We had never successfully saved a kitten this small, but we gave her our all. And she was a fighter from the jump! She quickly learned to latch on our super small special neonatal kitten nipples, and was a breeze after that! She was verrrryyy slow to grow, despite eating well and appearing otherwise healthy. After a few vet visits and some bloodwork to rule out a liver shunt, it was determined she was just a little cat!
At now 4 months old, she was finally big enough to safely be spayed and placed up for adoption. Crumb is bonded to our other adorable orange boy, Uncle Baby Billy. These two are not true littermates, but they have been fostered together since they were both bottle babies. They sleep together, play together, eat together, and cry when they can’t find each other. We are looking for a home that can welcome both of these babies together🧡🤎🖤

More about this rescue
Orphan Annie's Neonatal Rescue was founded by a licensed Pediatric and Neonatal Nurse Anesthesiologist and a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. The founders are able to take their vast knowledge of saving human babies, and small mammals; and apply it to the very vulnerable orphaned kittens and puppies. At Orphan Annie's we take in the sickest, the smallest, the least likely to survive without our care. Every single animal we have for adoption has beat the odds. By the time they are available for their forever homes, we have months of our lives invested in these babies, and thus know everything there is to know about them. Our babies are hand-raised, so they are extremely friendly and eager to be a loving member of their forever homes.
