Lucky is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. He had been living on his own in Preston, doing his best to survive, when a kind Good Samaritan witnessed him being hit by a car and immediately rushed to help him. Thanks to that quick action, Lucky received the care he needed for his bumps, bruises, and some oral trauma — and he’s been on the mend ever since.
Despite everything he’s been through, Lucky remains a truly sweet soul. He can be a little shy at first, understandably taking a moment to feel safe, but once he realizes he’s in good hands, his gentle and loving nature shines through.
Lucky is ready to leave his tough days behind and find a home where he can feel secure, cherished, and protected for the rest of his life. He’s looking for a patient, loving family who will give this resilient boy the safe haven he deserves.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $150.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $350.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
