June is an 11-year-old sweetheart who proves that age is just a number. She still loves to run, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. Her favorite activities include playing with stuffies and engaging in a good game of tug-of-war. She’s also very food motivated, which makes bonding and training easy and fun.
June walks nicely on a leash, does well riding in the car, and is housebroken. She knows her basic commands and is a well-mannered companion. When volunteers take her home for short visits, she settles in beautifully and shows just how well she can adapt to a home environment.
She has been at the shelter since September 2025, making her our longest-resident dog, and she continues to patiently wait for her forever family. June has also shown that she is dog-friendly and enjoys positive interactions with other dogs.
