Snoop is a 3-year-old black Labrador Retriever who came to the shelter after his family faced a change in their housing situation. He had been living in a home where he was house-trained, kept loose in the house, and shared his space with another dog.
Shelter life is a little overwhelming for Snoop at first, and he can seem unsure as he settles in, but he truly enjoys spending time with people and finds comfort in their presence. Treats are a great way to make friends with him, and they help bring out his typical Labrador personality.
Snoop is used to indoor living and did well in a home environment, though trash needed to be kept out of reach. On leash, he’s still learning polite walking manners and tends to pull while he takes in everything around him.
We do not yet know how Snoop does with cats or children. With time and a calm home routine, Snoop is ready to ease back into family life and share his companionship with the people lucky enough to call him their own.
If you’re interested in meeting Snoop, please fill out an adoption application at **[www.hsbcpets.com/adopt](http://www.hsbcpets.com/adopt)** 🐾 If you are interested in learning more or would like to set up a Meet & Treat appointment, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.hsbcpets.com/adopt

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Barron County and surrounding areas.
Established in 1978 by a small but dedicated group of core volunteers, the HSBC started out with these volunteers taking animals into their own homes and advertising the need for forever homes for these animals. Over the years, since this humble beginning the HSBC has grown into the organization that it is today. From the homes of volunteers, relying on fundraising and the generous donations of our community, we have grown into and remain in our home on Guy Avenue in Barron.
HSBC is operated by a small staff and relies heavily on volunteers, as well as funds from donations, adoptions, memberships and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals needing our assistance.
We sincerely thank you for making this possible.
