Meet Ushi!

Ushi is the perfect definition of a cat. This little lady is all for the attention. It’s very easy to get her purring with some cheek scratches or pets. She’s not shy to give a little humph if you’re petting another cat and slyly inserts herself between you and the offender.

Ushi will follow you around wherever you go and especially loves sitting next to or on your lap. If you’re in bed, she’s on your chest, if you’re in the kitchen, she’s at your feet! She’ll spend most nights and mornings curled up next to you or at the end of your bed.

She loves playing chase with her friend Kuma and they get along very well but she also enjoys throwing around a toy on her own at times. Ushi would do great in a variety of homes- due to her social nature, Ushi needs to go home with a friend or to a home with a resident playful cat. She also has a fascination with screens, and will intently watch the tv or try to bap your phone.

Ushi is estimated to be almost 2.5 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're looking for a sweet velcro kitty, consider adopting Ushi today!

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.
Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.
Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.
Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.
