Buttercup is full of energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief. She may look a little angry in her pics... but that's just how her face looks. We're pretty sure it's because of her third eye, which we also assume gives her magical powers.
Buttercup loves teaming up with her siblings for playtime shenanigans, and she’s often the one leading the charge into kitten-sized trouble (the fun kind). After all that excitement though, she’s more than happy to settle in your arms for a good cuddle. She was raised by her foster mom as a bottle baby. She knows people are her friends!!
Buttercup is an affectionate, playful girl and will make sure she gets your attention when she needs it! She loves to be with her siblings in a cuddle pile, on your lap, or racing around the house. She's a very loving and fun little kitten and will make a great family member!
Buttercup is ~5 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litter box tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Buttercup would thrive if adopted with one of her foster siblings. She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend.
Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

We are located in Houston, Texas and are a FULLY foster-based rescue with no physical shelter location.
