We have owned Karl since he was a kitten and he is now 6 years old. He has always been a very anxious cat, hiding when we have visitors and keeping to himself. He is very sweet when he feels comfortable.
One of our other cats is bullying him and we have recently had a baby and the stress of everything is getting to him, including leading to him peeing outside of his litter box.
We feel he would do best in a home that is quiet and relaxed. He gets along with some of our other cats, so he could go somewhere that already owns a calm and sweet cat. He has never interacted with a dog. He would not do well around young children because they would scare him.
