Why I need a new home

Busy schedule

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Captain is a sweet, affectionate, people-loving dog looking for a stable forever home. I am currently in the military and may be deploying soon. With my schedule getting increasingly busy, I cannot give him the consistent time and attention he deserves long-term.

Captain is about 7 years old, healthy, and up to date on all shots. He has a medium energy level, does not bark, and loves affection. He is great with kids and enjoys walks and car rides. He does not tear up the house.

Training: crate trained, housebroken, and knows sit, paw, and lay down.

Dog friendly: he does well with smaller dogs and has lived with two smaller dogs for the past two years. With dogs his size, he needs a proper introduction. He is not aggressive, he just loves to play and can be overly enthusiastic at first.

Captain comes with a crate, 6-inch memory foam bed, food container, bowls, toys, rear-seat cover, and a pet grooming vacuum.
