My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to hire a working cat?
Eeyore is an confident outdoor cat who is not interested in hanging out with people - but is ready to get to work.

Eeyore would be best suited for either small or large farm operations, riding stables, wineries, greenhouses, or similar spaces where he can keep vermin under control. Working cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped before heading to their new job. Working cat adoption fees are covered by our program - All Eeyore needs is food, water, a safe warm shelter and regular veterinary care in his new home.

To help Eeyore adjust to his new environment, he will need a secure location to settle in. A quiet, enclosed area like a tack room with a window and access to natural light is the ideal setup. This allows him to acclimate to his new space while feeling safe and comfortable. A gradual introduction to his new home will help him feel more at ease and settle in more quickly.

Eeyore is located at Barrie and District Animal Centre at 91 Patterson in Barrie - for more information on adopting Eeyore please email barrie@ontariospca.ca or call 705-728-7311 ext 6.
