My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted him from the pound when he was five months old after he was rescued from a neglected and abusive home. We’ve had him for the past two years, and he has been an amazing dog.

Recently, we welcomed a daughter who is now 18 months old and has a severe allergy to dogs. We’ve tried everything to limit contact, but despite our efforts, whenever we interact with him we need to bathe immediately, otherwise our daughter breaks out in hives.

Over time, we’ve come to realize that his life has changed drastically due to the demands of caring for a young child. He’s not getting the attention he deserves, and it doesn’t feel fair to him.

With heavy hearts, we’ve decided that the best thing for him is to find a new, loving home where he can receive the attention, affection, and care he needs. He is a very sweet and loving boy—he’s just very large and doesn’t always realize it.
