Tommy is 16-years-old and I’ve had him since he was a kitten. He is incredibly affectionate and is the best snuggle buddy. He is very anxious around other animals and is okay around children as long as they are gentle and not too loud.
As a senior cat, he does have some ongoing medical needs, including chronic constipation and almost daily vomiting due to hairballs, eating too quickly, stomach upset, etc. These conditions require a patient care giver who can love and support him and give him the time he needs. He would do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands senior cats and is willing to provide extra love, comfort, and attentiveness to help him feel safe.
It breaks my heart to send him to a new home. It has become too difficult to care for him while having two young children, being allergic to him, and his additional needs at this time. I hope there is someone out there who can love him for the rest of his life.
