My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Charlie.

I am a big handsome gray and white tuxedo male. Most tuxedo kitties are black and white so I am extra special.

I am a sweet kitty who loves to snuggle.  I love to play with the other kitties almost as much as I love to snuggle.  I LOVE catnip!  Sprinkle some on the floor and I will roll around and be so happy!  I like catnip mice too.  I am a mighty hunter and catch them.

But what I love best is spending time cuddling with my favorite people.  If you will be my person, I will be your loving kitty.  Come meet me and make a love connection.  Formal attire not required.

Please contact the shelter at hancockcountyhumanesociety@gmail.com to make an appointment to meet me.

More about this rescue

The Hancock County Humane Society is a no-kill*, non-profit animal shelter. (We are not affiliated with, nor do we receive financial support from, the Humane Society of the United States.) This organization has been in existence for many years and has always been staffed entirely by volunteers and funded entirely on donations from the local community. It is our goal to find permanent safe and loving homes for the pets in our care. We would also like to promote community education and awareness, including the importance of early spay/neuter of a pet and the importance of a pet wearing I.D.

*No-kill meaning healthy pets with good temperaments are kept until adopted no matter how many years it may take. We diligently attempt to treat unhealthy pets whenever possible.
