My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy was adopted from a shelter. She had been abused. We have had her since 2020. She is 5 years old. Since she was abused at an early age she does not like children and is very picky about people and other dogs. Even though she had a hard beginning once Ivy chooses you as her person you will be shown love all the time. She sleeps in her crate at night and is an inside and outside dog. Ivy needs space to run or taken out for exercise. She does not chew on furniture but loves bones as treats. Ivy sometimes thinks she is small and sits on your lap to give you kisses. She sometimes shares our bed. She is a goofy dog that plays like a puppy. She will play fetch but mostly inside. The commands she know are sit, lay down, in,bed, and leave it. She was raised around farm animals. If you have chickens she will not eat them. She might want to give a hand getting them back in the hen house. As long as you tell her to "leave it" she will not bother it again. She is a sweet and good girl.
