🐾 Meet Austin- a gentle, loving ball of fluff! 🐾
6-year-old Austin is a stunning ray of sunshine who enjoys brushing, cozy beds and soft pets in between long catnaps. He is a gentle, sweet boy who is looking to be by your side for all your 10 lives together!
A former outdoor kitty, Austin is adjusting wonderfully to the indoor life and enjoying the luxuries of always having a full bowl and someone to talk sweetly to him during snuggles. He has enjoyed a total glow up and struts that beautiful fur through the room like he owns it (and he does!). He even had his teeth done and is thinking about becoming a dentist himself!
Austin would love a home where he can relax and enjoy brushing and lots of petting. We think he would do fine with other cats and older, gentle kids who can appreciate his love for cool, calm and collected days. Did we mention Austin is a CATalyst cat? Two paws up for helping his fellow feline community!

At Ten Lives, we believe in saving the most at-risk cats of our community. Many times, these cats require extraordinary medical care and extensive stays in their foster homes before they are ready for adoption. But we don’t think time or money should ever get in the way of a cat receiving the care they deserve! To help us care for these cats, we have increased fees for other cats who are in high demand–such cats aid us in catalyzing change within our community. When you adopt a CATalyst cat, you aren’t just providing a forever home for them; you’re helping many other cats at Ten Lives, like our Forgotten Felines!

About Ten Lives:
Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

All potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.
