My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie

Charlie is a 3-year-old, 20-pound Corgi mix who is as adorable as he is handsome. This sweet boy is on a gentle journey of learning to trust, and he has been making steady, heartwarming progress while in our care.

Charlie can be a little nervous in new situations, but with time, patience, and kindness, his true personality begins to shine. He’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place—and that dog things can actually be fun! Having a confident canine friend in his future home is high on Charlie’s wish list. Another dog will help him build confidence, show him the ropes, and reassure him that life is meant to be enjoyed.

And speaking of canine friends—Charlie and Larry have become best buddies here at the rescue! Larry has happily taken on the role of mentor and insists on taking Charlie for his morning walk each day. Their friendship has been such a wonderful confidence boost for Charlie and a joy for us to watch.
