Lela is an 8 kg Pinscher whose world changed when her beloved owner sadly passed away. With no one left to care for her, she found her way into our rescue — and from the very first day, she reminded us just how resilient love can be.
At seven years young, Lela is thriving. She’s in wonderful health, full of gentle energy, and ready to enjoy many more happy years with a family of her own. She may be small in size, but her capacity for love is enormous.
Lela is the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. She adores people, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up beside you as your loyal little shadow. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly devoted, she truly just wants to belong again.
She’s also wonderfully social — great with other dogs and gentle with cats — making her an easy fit for many homes. Whether it’s a quiet evening on the couch or a leisurely stroll, Lela will be right by your side, grateful for every moment.

If you're interested in adopting any of our rescue animals, please email c4ptoronto@gmail.com for an application that must be completed and returned to begin the process. If approved, a home visit will be scheduled. Prior to adoption, all rescue animals from our animal rescue come spay/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. There will be a fostering period before the completion of the adoption process.

We work with animal rescuers to help facilitate the rescue and adoption/foster of abused and/or homeless and abandoned animals and assist with the coordination and placement of these animals in forever homes. We only serve the Greater Toronto Area.
We predominantly rescue dogs. Our animals are adopted directly from foster care in most cases. We do not have a shelter.
We also work with a few partnering rescues in Ontario, US, and over seas. We cherish the relationships we have established and work very closely with these partners in order to facilitate a successful adoption. We are serious about our ad process and want only the best for our animals. We focus on finding the best fit for both animal and adoptee.
Cause 4 Paws is looking for volunteers to help with many different tasks such as administrative, transportation, fostering, fundraising etc. Please contact us if you are interested in helping in any way. To donate to our organization you may use our PayPal email address.
