If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
About: He is a DSH tannish-gray tabby. He was found as a kitten on my friend’s porch early July this year. He is about 7-8 months old and is still very much a kitten, meaning he can be a cuddle-bug sometimes and mischievous other times.
Reason for rehoming: He is not fitting into our family. I have an older dog, another cat, and 2 small children and they do not like his kitten energy. I’m constantly redirecting him or my other babies and I just can’t any longer.
We’ve had him since August 2nd and we’ve done everything we can to minimize the tension. We did a very slow introduction, tried feliway, and other behavior remedies that we know of to get energy out of him, but he is also still a kitten.
He is neutered and I have all his vet records. He is healthy and up to date with all his shots. He will also come with 3 months supply of flea/tick medicine, food bowl, food, scratch post, toys, litter box. I live in north Austin, Travis County.
