Luna’s Story 🐾
I’ve had Luna since she was just 5 months old. She will be 11 years old on March 1st, and for most of her life, it’s been just the two of us against the world.
She has been with me through every season of my life — the hard ones, the lonely ones, the healing ones, and the joyful ones. Every move, every heartbreak, every fresh start, every quiet night where she was my comfort and constant. She’s not “just a cat” — she’s been my companion, my routine, my home.
A few years ago, my life grew. I met my partner, and last year we welcomed a beautiful baby. As much joy as that has brought, it also brought unexpected challenges. We recently learned that our baby is allergic to cats, and despite every effort, Luna has struggled to transition into our new home, new space, and new rhythm with a baby. The environment that once felt calm and predictable to her no longer does.
Luna deserves more than surviving change — she deserves to feel settled, chosen, and at peace.
