If I’m being honest, I don’t even really want to write her biography because that means she will be leaving soon. We have enjoyed having her in our house so much. Mia is a 9 year purebred poodle. Yes, you can absolutely find purebred dogs in a rescue!
She is such a cool old lady. She is quite spry for her age. She is a bit of a sour patch kid, but nothing truly bad like biting or destructive behavior just attitude. She will tell you when she is displeased, and enjoys yelling at things to stay off her lawn! She is also house and crate trained.
Mia is ok with other dogs. She would prefer a home with a calm older or dog or no dogs at all. She loves the company of humans over animals. We are working on how we address our cat friends, but she does chase cats. She is fully vetted, up to date on shots, and ready to find a loving home to treat her like the queen she already knows she is.
Mia does have some allergies that caused her hair to fall out. The rescue has had a food sensitivity test done and the adopter will receive those results. She is currently receiving medications and medicated baths twice weekly. Her skin is looking much better than when she arrived!
