My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi new friends! My name is Gingi.
I’m a blue merle Miniature Australian Shepherd, and I’m 8 years old. I consider myself a pretty laid-back kind of guy. I’m not your typical high-energy Aussie — I much prefer lounging around the house and enjoying a really good meal. When I do get a burst of energy, my favorite thing is playing fetch in the backyard. I like the ball thrown a max of five times… then I’m ready for a well-deserved break. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed some joint issues, especially in my hips, so I do best with gentle play and patient walks. I would truly thrive in a calmer home, where I can relax, feel safe, and get the gentle attention I deserve. Recently, my family has grown with toddlers and a baby and the busy, noisy environment has become overwhelming.
I do have a medical condition that causes seizures, but they are well managed with medication twice a day. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow companion who loves cozy days I might just be your perfect companion
