My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me!

“This sweet girl was just staring at me from her kennel bed with the saddest eyes, so I knew I had to take her out and give her some love. She hesitantly walked out of her kennel and outside with me, and once we got to the runs she crawled into the corner and laid down, too scared to move. I sat on the ground with her, offering treats and pets and she would flinch away from my hand every time😭
After some of the initial panic wore off, she slowly began to realize that I was a friend and that she reallyyy liked the chicken treats I was feeding her. All of a sudden this brave girl was up and moving and following me all around the run and sitting eagerly for treats🥹

I found out later that she came in with a litter of puppies that she got separated from, so that’s probably why the world seemed like such a scary place! Ari girl is sweet and gentle and she’s got the cutest little party ear that sticks up. Towards the end of our time together she started wagging her tail and excitedly jumped up on me, as if to thank me for becoming her new friend 🥹

I need this sweet girl to make it out of the shelter so I can see her learn to trust and grow and blossom🌸”

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter.
