My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We went through 3 Miniature Schnauzer that we loved. After putting down our last dog we decided that we wanted to try a bigger dog. My 92 year old mother-in-law lives in the UP and we live south of Grand Rapids. My mother-in-law has quickly been experiencing decline health especially mentally. My wife and I went up to see her in early October where it became apparent that she could no longer live alone or drive at anymore. The decision was made that she would come down and live with us. I came back home and made major adjustments to one of our bedrooms to accommodate her while my wife spent an additional two months with her to settle her financial responsibilities and pack up for the move. Cooter our half Miniature Aussie/ Border Collie is 8 months old and probably over 40 lbs. He is up to date with all his shots and has been neutered. Fun dog but too much energy for a 92 year old lady. Adoption fee doesn’t cover half of our investment thus far.
