Duckie is a lovable yellow Lab puppy with a heart as soft as his ears! True to his name, he loves to stick close to his people and would happily spend his whole day curled up in your lap soaking up cuddles.
This playful boy enjoys romping around with the other foster pups in his home and is always ready to join in on a game. He’s still very much a puppy, so you may get some gentle nibbling on fingers and toes when he’s excited or wants to play — nothing some fun toys and basic training won’t fix!
Duckie is highly food-motivated and loves treats, which makes him eager to learn and a great candidate for training. He’s sweet, social, and full of happy puppy energy, balanced perfectly with his love for snuggles.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
