Blanco’s story began in the summer of 2025, when his mother—who had been living on the property—gave birth to three kittens that eventually appeared on the front porch. Of the trio, Blanco stood out as the one who truly wanted human connection. Sensing his friendly heart, his finders brought him indoors, and he’s never looked back.
Blanco has adapted beautifully to indoor life and has shown excellent house manners from the start. He has never asked to go back outside and is a pro with the litter box. He’s a loving, affectionate boy who adores snuggling, being cuddled, and curling up as a devoted lap cat. When he’s not soaking up attention, Blanco enjoys playing with his toys and watching the world go by from the window.
He currently co-exists peacefully with a resident senior cat, showing his gentle and adaptable

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
