We got Nyx from a family member around 2 years ago. She is somewhere in the ballpark of 2 1/2 - 3 years old. She can be a sweet girl but doesnt do well with children and often hisses/scratches at our 8 year old. We are looking to find someone that doesnt have kids, possibly someone older who is at home a lot as she likes to sit on your lap.
With her long hair she does tend to have a lot of hairballs. We have tried a lot of things to mitigate this but nothing has worked and she ends up throwing up a lot. It&s difficult for us to keep up with this situation due to our busy schedules.
We live in an apartment building and have made a lot of efforts to treat but as we cat clean the entire building fleas have been an issue for her. She has several spots where theyve bitten at her despite deep cleaning/flea drops/bathing. Due to this I think it would be ideal to have a standalone home for her and not a multiple dwelling unit.
She has been an indoor cat all her life but loves windows.
