Venus is a small brave little girl that is very curious about humans but needs time to warm up. She has been through a lot starting with her mother rejecting her. She lived outside in the cold with her sisters. They were all near a very loud and noisy street in West Philadelphia. Out of all four, she has been the bravest one. She does require patience and time, but in overall loves to play, eat, cuddle, and give kisses. She deserves a lot of love. She is demonstrating independence but can get sad if she doesn’t get attention. Since her mother rejected her, she has a lot of trauma and need a patient adopter.

Meet the Pet
After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

Sign Adoption Contract
After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Cats ages 1-9 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Senior cats ages 10+ years old: $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
