This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. I love Laurel very much and have truly tried to make this work, but after moving into an apartment she is not adjusting well. Laurel has been a mostly outdoor cat her entire life, and apartment living has been very stressful for her. She will not consistently use a litter box and is damaging the apartment. It’s clear she truly needs outdoor access to be happy and healthy.
Laurel would do best in a home where she can safely be outside — such as a house with a yard, farm, barn, or a property where she can come and go. She has always stayed close to home and does not roam far.
To help her transition, I will provide:
✔️ A heated outdoor cat house
✔️ A brand-new self-cleaning litter box
✔️ Any supplies she currently uses
I am looking for a responsible, caring home that can provide her the outdoor space she needs. This decision was not made lightly, and my only goal is Laurel’s happiness and safety.
