My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we fostered Cheddar, it was to save him from being euthanized, bc he is a loving dog with some behavioral issues. After a year of not finding an owner the dog pound pressured us to make a decision so we adopted him knowing the inevitable. Now with a newborn on the horizon, the behaviors create a new barrier. He is protective, sensitive to noises, and playful to sudden movements. But he is heavy and even his playful or protective manners could become dangerous to an infant/toddler. And though I love Cheddar and have to make a hard decision, the baby is my priority. Cheddar would do best with an adult family or a family with teenagers who are willing to give him attention. He does well with other dogs for the most part but his play is rough at times which seems worrisome if you are not familiar with it. He does not like cats or critters. He has had all of his shots and has some food sensitivities. He is approximately 3-4 years old. He is also neutered. Please help us find a home.
