My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Clawdine, a super sweet, compact bundle of love! This absolute love bug is the total package - good in any situation, lower energy, super friendly with all humans and dogs. She is quiet and crate trained. Clawdine was a shelter favorite before she landed with us, giving everyone her hugs and attention. She's a smart gal and seems to know "sit". We also suspect that she is house-trained. Clawdine would be a good candidate for apartment or townhouse living. If you need an adoring, velcro doggie, look no further, Clawdine is ready to shower you with attention (and the good kind, we do not see any separation anxiety here, just adoration for all humans!)

Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

More about this rescue

The Hatton Animal Rescue Foundation was founded by Gary and Annette Hatton who saw a great gap in our society when it comes to the care and support of special needs animals and seniors. These animals are the ones most left behind and typically deemed un-salvageable or un-adoptable due to their medical conditions and age.

We foster many different types of animals with special needs and/or disabilities in the hopes that they will one day be adopted into a loving home. If one cannot be found, we provide the comfort, care and forever home they need.

Due to the nature of farm animals being more challenging to adopt out, these special guys typically become our permanent residents!

Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping animals in our community. We take our convictions and turn them into action.
