Their adoption process
All dogs over the age of 6 months old are adopted on a 2 week trial to make sure that the dog is a great fit in your home. if at anytime the applicant doesn't feel the fit is right- you must reach out to the rescue to discuss.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Be sure to inform your references that we will be calling and can't move forward until we get responses from them, including your vet.
- Interview
- If all information provided by the references looks good, we will move onto a home check.
- Home Check
- You may be asked to send video of the inside of your home and yard where the dog will be residing.
- Approve Application
- If all references and home check look good, we will approve the application and inform you that it has been approved.
- Meet the Pet
- After the application process has been complete, we will set up a time to meet your desired dog.
- Pay Fee
- If the dog of your choice is a good fit for your home, then we require that the fee is paid to make the adoption official.
- Take the Pet Home
- The medical records will either be given to you in person, mailed or emailed to you.
