Do you need a playmate for your kitten or cat? Gumdrop (aka Gigi) is a ball of fun and energy. She loves other cats but hasn't been tested with dogs. Her Foster family has 2 kids, other cats and lots of noise, so she is very comfortable in a busy household. Don't worry, when she runs out of energy Gumdrop loves to curl up in a lap or a window. Gumdrop was on a euthanasia list at a rescue in Georgia, so her finder adopted her to save her life. She made the long drive up to Pennsylvania, and she is hoping to get her second chance at life. Gumdrop is a Dilute Tortoiseshell which is why she has such beautiful colors and markings. She is very athletic and does some amazing moves on her cat tree. Gumdrop would do best in a house with another pet as she loves to wrestle and chase. Gumdrop is very gentle and sweet with children (including toddlers). She doesn't mind being picked up or bothered, but she does prefer running about being curious. Gumdrop is as sweet as her name!
All kittens reside in foster homes and are not kept at the actual shelter. They have been spay/neutered, microchipped, wormed, FeLV tested, and have had at least their first distemper vaccine depending on age. The adopter is responsible for all remaining vaccines.
Contact kittens@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or call 610-432-2532 ext 4 for more info about Gumdrop and the adoption process. Potential adopters will need to complete an application and provide proof of vet care/vaccinations and spay/neuter for other animals living in the home. If you rent please also provide a copy of your rental agreement showing pet allowance. Please bring your own carrier.
