My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roz and Dimitri- Bonded Pair

Roz, aka Rozamund Kittington, DOB April 2020
Roz is a 5 year old spayed female who weights approximately 11lbs. She loves to hunt bugs, reflections and her toys. Her favorite spot to sit is on our fireplace mantle or the back of the armchair on our upstairs landing so she can see her entire kingdom. She is social with all people and likes to rub all over the ankles of newcomers. She will do “bear stance” when she wants something- pawing in the air toward the thing she wants- which is often affection or a light bulb that is out of her reach. She enjoys basking in sun spots and surveying her kittydom. While she is not a huge fan of being held/carried, she does enjoy spending time near her humans and will snuggle on the couch when she has decided her kingdom has been reasonably patrolled and mischief managed. She is a good mouser and keeps the basement free of mice and bugs. She also can be very chatty. She love to tell you all about her day when you get home as she weaves around your legs and jumps up for pets. Her favorite treats are freeze dried shrimp and bites of your pasta at dinner time. Roz absolutely loves our toddler and likes to rub on him when he is within reach and will quickly dart away from his grabby finger. She eats both wet and dry food. She has all of her claws, is litter box trained and is an indoor only cat.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
