Hi! I'm Marshmellow, the handsome Siamese on the left! And I'm Gizmo, the dashing Balinese on the right. We are bonded and must go home together. Our adoption fee includes both of us!

We are lovebugs looking for the perfect place to spend our golden years.

We enjoy gentle pets, yummy treats, and quiet afternoons lounging in the sun.

Need some biscuits with your breakfast? Marshmellow is an expert kneader!

Gizmo's purr motor is always running.

Looking for a dinner date? We enjoy having company at mealtimes.

Handling Sensitivity: We can be overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. We may exhibit our discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home.

Fearful Behavior: Marshmellow can be worried about new people or new surroundings. He prefers to take things at his own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment.

We have been diagnosed with dental disease which means we may need dental cleanings or extractions in the future.

Helping Marshmellow lose weight will allow him to live his best life!

Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis. There may be a wait time during our busiest times, including the weekends.

We do not offer holds on any animals at this time.

Additional adoption info

Oregon Humane Society’s Portland and Salem campuses are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days per week. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, please take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby. Our Customer Care team will be happy to assist you with the next steps.
