Persee is a very beautiful and sweet girl. She was rescued by a good samaratin who had just moved in to her new home and noticed that this girl was limping. Since she was unable to keep this cat she reached out for help and we were able to get this girl the help she needed. She had a nasty bite wound and after a minor surgery to treat her she recovered beautifully. She has been a model patient. She is a bit "head shy" but loves belly rubs and just lounging on the couch with her foster mom. Estimated at 6years old she is now ready to be in her own loving home. With love and patience she will be able to put her bad experience of being lost or abandoned behind her and learn what it's like to be with a caring family.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , dewormed, and up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

The process begins with the completion of our Adoption Application form on our website (locrami.com).

2.
Approve Application

We will do a vet check if you now own or have owned pets in the past.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the adoption you will sign our adoption contract, be given an adoption booklet with the cat's medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

After we receive your application we should get back to you in 2 days at most.
You will fill out a preliminary Getting to Know You pre-adoption form. We will interview you and possibly co-adopter, We will talk to your vet, make sure the address you give us is legitimate. When you are approved for adoption you will fill out a Final adoption Form. All of our cats who are adopted have a trial period and may be returned.
In general, we ask $150 for kittens and $130 for cats over a year of age. Our cats and kittens are spay/neutered, microchipped, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, tested for FIV and FeLV, and dewormed.

Our cats can be adopted at any time by arranging an appointment at a foster home or meeting at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Road between 14 and 15 Mile Roads, in Commerce Twp. If you would like to see one of the cats you viewed online contact us via phone or email so we can make arrangements for you to meet them.

More about this rescue

We branched off of another rescue group in Oct of 2015, in order to concentrate solely on cats and kittens. We are a 501c3 foster-based group of dedicated volunteers, and our mission is finding homes for stray, abandoned, no longer wanted cats and kittens. We are a foster-based Rescue, meaning we have no brick and mortar facility. All our cats are cared for by foster caregivers in loving homes. We give medical help to sick and injured cats as needed. Donations, grants, and adoption fees are our sole means of income for our group. Volunteers are always welcomed and needed.
