My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zane

10/31/2025

Not yet neutered male

Mixed breed (labeled as a boxer mix)

Zane is working hard on pee pad training, house training, and crate training. He is friendly to dogs, cats, and kids. He has attended multiple events and done well. Zane is not a snuggle bug and loves to romp, roar, and play. He has a fair energy level and settles once he gets his zoomies out. He is working on potty training outside but is not a huge fan of all the snow we have had.

Applications for adoption can be completed on our website: allieandpalsrescue.org/adopt

Zanes adoption fee is $500 this includes age appropriate core vaccines at the time of adoption, microchip with lifetime registration, neuter, heartworm negative if 6+ months, and up to date on prevention.

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter must submit an adoption application, which will then be reviewed by a volunteer. The volunteer will then call the listed veterinary reference and two additional personal references. After a reference check is complete, a volunteer will schedule an interview and home check with the potential adopters. If everything checks out the application will then be approved. The adopter will then be able to sign up to meet a foster dog that they are interested in. If they have another resident dog, a meet and greet will be required.

More about this rescue

At Allie & Pals Rescue, we strive to set all dogs up for success in the safest and most caring homes. We advocate for animal training, in order to help bridge the gap between owner knowledge and rescue dog behavior. Our mission is to assist in decreasing the euthanasia rates amongst shelters locally and nation-wide. Our rescue was started up by a group of dog lovers! In 2021, we saw the amount of homeless dogs that desperately needed families of their own, so we all came together with a mission to help. Our volunteers come from all different backgrounds, which allows us to put everyone's experiences to good use.
