Hi, I’m Cranberry ?? I’m a 5-month-old kitten, and I’m a little on the nervous side. I was adopted a few weeks ago by a family who said they understood that I’d need time and space to decompress — but after only a short while, I was brought back because I was still hiding under the bed.
That part was hard. Not because I did anything wrong — but because I never really got the time I needed.
I’m not broken. I’m not unfriendly. I’m just shy, and big changes take me a while. When I’m overwhelmed, I hide. When I feel safe, I start to peek out, observe, and slowly build confidence. I need a home that truly understands that trust can’t be rushed.
What I’m looking for now is a patient, calm family who will let me move at my own pace — someone who won’t take hiding personally and will give me the space to come out when I’m ready. With that kind of understanding, I know I can grow into the confident, loving cat everyone hopes I’ll be.
I don’t need fixing. I need time. And the right person to believe in me.
If you’re willing to go slow and let trust grow naturally, I promise I’ll be worth every quiet moment ???
