Meet Blitzen, a super cute ~10 week old female husky mix puppy! We are unsure of breed mix, but we suspect this litter may have some Shiba Inu or other spitz breed in them. Based on their size and current size, we expect them to grow to medium/large dogs.
Blitzen and her 8 siblings (the Reindeer litter) were sadly dumped at one of our rescue partners in TN when they were about 3 weeks old, without their mom. The man who dumped them stated that it was an oops litter and that he did not want to deal with them. The rescue tried to convince the man to let them help with spaying mom to prevent any future litters, but he refused to give her up. PRL took the 9 pups and placed them with our wonderful neonatal foster, who has nurtured them and helped them grow into the most perfect fat, happy little puppies! They are now ready to find their furever homes!
Blitzen is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs.
Huskies are an energetic, smart working breed who typically require a high level of physical and mental exercise/stimulation to keep them happy and out of trouble. Please research the breed before applying to adopt! We work hard to match each dog to the best home to meet their specific needs, and we will prioritize applicants who have breed experience and/or a fenced in yard.

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
