Hi friends! My name is Buttercup, and I’m so happy to finally get to tell you my story in my own words.

I spent an entire year in a shelter — waiting, watching, and hoping that one day someone would choose me. Then Lucky Paws Rescue came along and changed everything. They broke me out, gave me a fresh start, and reminded me that my best days are still ahead.

I’ve been a devoted mama, and I did my job with love. Now it’s finally my turn to be someone’s baby. I’m an easy-going girl who truly enjoys the simple things in life — peaceful walks, quiet moments, and soaking up every bit of love I can get. I do great with other dogs, but if I’m being honest… I’d much rather be your shadow.

My favorite activities include relaxing outdoors, curling up in a cozy bed, and watching TV right beside you. I’m all about the slower, sweeter side of life — calm days, gentle routines, and lots of affection. If you’re looking for a dog who brings peace, comfort, and unconditional love into your home, I might just be your girl.

All I’m wishing for now is a forever family — one that will choose me and never let me go. I promise to return that love tenfold with loyalty, warmth, and the very best cuddles.

I am a quiet girl that loves her people, but I am not a fan of those babies and toddler, they scare me.
