Meet Eli 🤍
Eli is a 7-ish month old baby who is still very much growing into his body — and his confidence. He’s all arms, legs, and goofy charm, and while they suspect he may be a Great Dane mix… honestly? He could also just be a certified good boy in a lanky phase.
Eli was recently pulled from a high-risk shelter, and we’re so glad he got his second chance. He’s on the thinner side right now and will need to put on some healthy weight, but he’s already thriving with good food, love, and stability.
This sweet boy loves other dogs
Eli is still young, so he’ll benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he grows. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, companionship, and that hilarious “I don’t know what to do with my legs” puppy energy that keeps life entertaining.

Adoption fees are $275 for dogs over 6 months and $300 for dogs 6 months and younger. This fee includes spay/neuter, rabies shot if dog is over 4 months old, parvo/distemper shots up to the time of adoption, fecal check, microchip, and all dogs are heartworm negative.

Rover Rescue is an all-breed dog rescue group located 40 miles west of Chicago in Aurora, IL. The dogs/puppies in our organization have been rescued from high-kill animal shelters located in Illinois and Indiana. All of our animals are in private foster homes living with families until permanent homes can be found. If you would like to be a foster home for Rover Rescue, please call Teri at 630-897-7454.
