My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buster!

Buster is a gentle, sweet soul who may be a little shy at first, but do not let that fool you. Once you reach in to give him some love, he absolutely melts. He lives for butt scratches and happily soaks up any attention you are willing to give.

While Buster is not a fan of being picked up, he is still a total cuddle bug in his own way. He loves staying close, leaning into pets, and enjoying quiet moments with his favorite people.

Buster is very food motivated and will never say no to a tasty treat. Toss him a snack and you will have his full attention, especially if it is a tube treat. Those are his absolute favorite.

If you are looking for a soft, affectionate companion who just needs a little patience at first, Buster could be the perfect match for you.

FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

More about this shelter

We are a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter comprised mostly of volunteers. We take in cats and dogs from local shelters and the public who can no longer care for their pets. Each of the volunteers at FMAR has a tremendous amount of love for animals and simply wants to do what they can to ensure that as many animals as possible find a forever home. Until then, each animal has a home at FMAR indefinitely.
