Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Pagoda is one of the cats from the emergency intake on January 2 weekend. She is still a little unsure of household noises and people, but will come for meat tubes and temptations. Pag is still getting used to be reached for, but will accept pets and eats treats out of her foster`s hands. She`s also had an eye surgery as her eyelashes were rolling into her eyes, causing pain and discomfort. While she is not a fan of her eye drops, she easily forgives if the bad part is followed by lots of yummy treats. She is currently living with Panache, one of the others from the same situation. Pagoda is not quite ready to be adopted but she has just started to explore outside her cage. Follow along to see how she progresses and when she will become adoptable.

Our Adoption Centre is a free roaming space where the animals are allowed to mingle with the people who come to visit. Come relax on the couches and have a cozy lap warmer. We are located at the corner of 50th & Faithfull Avenue.

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
