Meet Axel – Your Future Fetch Champion!
Axel is a 2-year-old, 22-pound silver Schnauzer with one true passion in life: the tennis ball. This boy is ball crazy in the very best way and will happily find, chase, and return a ball for hours on end. If you’re an active family looking for a built-in workout buddy, Axel is ready to sign up.
He does wonderfully in a kennel, walks beautifully on a leash, and is housebroken with the use of a dog door — basically, he’s got the good manners part down already.
Axel gets along great with everyone and everything, making him an easy fit for homes with other dogs, kids, or visiting friends. He’s friendly, fun-loving, and always up for the next adventure… especially if it involves a game of fetch.
If you’re ready for endless games, happy tail wags, and a loyal sidekick, Axel is waiting to meet you!
Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)
You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.
His adoption fee is $300. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.
Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.

Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
