Gertie is a mature adult cat who came to us as a stray and has clearly had a rough go of it. He arrived with severely matted fur on his back and a mild ear infection, along with sores and scabs on his ears. He’s been feeling much better with care, but his ears will take time to heal and may remain a lifelong, manageable issue. Because of this, his future family should be prepared for possible ongoing ear care and veterinary treatment at their own expense.
