The Best Ride in the Park!
Meet brothers Yogi Bear and Leo (estimated dob 8/8/25). These black domestic short hair 6 month old kittens were recently returned through no fault of their own. They are truly bonded, but not everyone can take on 2 more kittens, so while it is the hope, they don’t need to be adopted together.
These boys came into foster at about 2 weeks old. From day one they were playful loving purr monsters. Their natural demeanor is over the top everything. They will run up to you, hug your legs, beg to be picked up, and if they are picked up, you will get your neck hugged, your face and hair inspected, and you will get a few kisses. They also seem to be fearless. This makes them excellent candidates if you want to leash train them.
With them a little older now they are definitely better behaved. They do not want to disappoint you. Example: They are “on your kitchen counter” kitties. When food is out though, I let them know they are to stand back or preferably leave, and they do. Mostly they just want to watch what you are doing. I may have whipped a couple of frozen peas their way while cooking, ha ha. They get a lot of entertainment out of one pea ha ha.
It is hard to tell them apart, but Yogi has 2 white facial whiskers that make him look like a walrus. He also is a little more serious about play than his brother.
Leo is the never ending lover kitty and he flies through the air and lands on your shoulder with no warning. Leo also has a few white hairs on the back of his neck.
A good home for the boys is with a family that wants super interactive kittens. If not adopted together, they each need another fur buddy in their new forever home.
If you’re interested in meeting either or both of these brothers, please fill out the questionnaire. For more photos, videos, or questions, you can contact me, Lynnette, their foster mom, at 916-521-5668.
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
