Payton is a sweet, gentle 1.5-year-old who genuinely loves other dogs and really bonds with his person.
He’s a total Velcro dog, always nearby, always ready to cuddle and a proud couch potato who’s happiest just hanging out with you. He’s fully potty trained, non-reactive, and incredibly easy to have around.
Payton does great with dogs, kids, and adults, and while he enjoys canine friends, he’d also be perfectly happy as an only dog. Calm, affectionate, and just an all-around good boy and best friend.

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!
Interview
Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.
Home Check
Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.
Approve Application
After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.
Take the Pet Home
We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.
Sign Adoption Contract
After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.
Pay Fee
After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!
