Meet Doc Pawliday — The Littlest Lawman of the Wild West Looking for a Forever Home “Well... I'm your huckleberry.” Howdy, partner! The name's Doc Pawliday, an approximately 10-week-old male Labrador Retriever mix who rode into town after being found on Featherstone Drive in Rockwall on 01/19/26. I may be pint-sized now, but this sheriff-in-training has a heart of gold, a gentle soul, and enough puppy charm to win over the whole saloon. As a young outlaw (of the cute variety), I'm in my most important training days. To grow into a well-mannered, confident family companion, I'll need a posse who can provide: • Consistent love and kind guidance • Positive socialization with people, pups, and new places • Basic training (potty, leash, and good-dog manners) • Patience, time, and commitment to help me learn the rules of the trail • Safe playtime, proper exercise, and plenty of naps between adventures My adoption fee is $125, which includes my neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, first round of puppy boosters, and first dewormer. Important Law of the Land: By order of Texas state law, I must return to Rockwall Adoption Center for my neuter and rabies vaccine on Wednesday, 02/04/26. This date is non-negotiable and part of my official contract with the town. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
