🐾 Meet Scrappy 🐾
Scrappy is a little bobcat look-alike with the sweetest heart and a story that makes him even more special. His rugged, handsome face comes from spending his first year as a tom cat, surviving life on the streets alongside his brother, Knight. Thankfully, a kind friend named Mitch noticed the boys, helped care for them, and reached out to Shady’s Paw, a call that changed Scrappy’s life forever. Today, Scrappy is safe, neutered, and thriving indoors, ready to leave his street days behind for good. He does well with new people, isn’t easily startled by household noises (he even enjoys watching the vacuum), and when he wants affection, he’ll walk right up and dramatically flop onto the floor with a signature plop. Scrappy has no special needs; a small break in his tail and a toe injury from his time outdoors are fully healed and don’t slow him down at all. He loves wet food in the morning and at dinnertime, enjoys cat trees and sunny windows, and would be happiest in a home that offers both love and space to relax. He does well with other cats, has not yet met children but is expected to do fine, and while he can be picked up (time may make this more comfortable for him), it’s not his favorite, he prefers affection on his own terms. Scrappy is now ready for his indoor forever life with a family who will give him the safety, comfort, and love he deserves.
