Alyssa is a 3 year old Border Terrier and Yorkie Mix with the calmest, sweetest soul. Found as a pregnant stray, she came to Lovejoy, lovingly raised her babies, and watched every one of them get adopted. Now, this beautiful mama is patiently waiting for her own forever home.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and truly a dream companion — gentle, affectionate, belly-rub obsessed, and wonderful on leash. Alyssa is non-reactive and gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing best friend, Alyssa may be the one. Come meet her and see for yourself.

We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications.
